Mr. Victor Sprenger Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Sprenger's career spans over 37 years in the electronics, refining and chemical industries. Prior to joining Accelergy, he spent over ten years in various management positions at Engelhard Corporation (acquired by BASF in June 2006). Most recently, he was Group Vice President and General Manager for Engelhard's Process Technologies Group. Prior to joining Englehard, Mr. Sprenger was Vice President of Electronic Materials at Macdermid, Inc. and also served as Vice President of Electronics at both Hercules, Inc., and Colight/Cugher. He began his career with AT&T's (Western Electric) blue circle management training program.
Mr. Sprenger holds a BS degree in industrial engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.

Dr. Youqi Wang Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Wang is a pioneer in HTE technology and its applications in advanced materials research. Prior to joining Accelergy, Dr. Wang was a Distinguished Scientist at Symyx Technologies and the third employee, where he created and advanced novel materials R&D technologies. Dr. Wang designed and built the world's first fully automated combinatorial thin film synthesis system. He developed and matured various synthesis and screening methodologies, technologies and HTE platforms for applications in industrial catalysis and other client-specified applications.
Dr. Wang is a named inventor on more than 15 patents and patent applications. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from California Institute of Technology and both a BS, Physical Chemistry and MS, Industrial Catalysis from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

Dr. Jane H. Chuan Executive Vice President China
Dr. Chuan has over 18 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical R&D operations, management and QA/QC. Prior to founding Accelergy, Dr. Chuan was Vice President of Operations at GanTech International. In this role, Dr. Chuan directed the day-to-day operation of the R&D and production groups within China. She also planned, organized and directed product development, validation, manufacturing and quality activities. Dr. Chuan has also held various positions at Coulter Pharmaceutical Inc, and SyStemix, Inc. where she directed and managed several functional groups, including manufacturing QA/QC, QC Lab, product stability, assay development and validation, and assay service.
Dr. Chuan holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from State University of New York at Buffalo, and a BS in Chemistry from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. |

Dr. Rocco Fiato Vice President, General Manager of Business Development & Planning.
Dr. Fiato brings over 25 years of experience in strategic planning and intellectual property management from the Oil and Gas industries to Accelergy. Before joining Accelergy, Dr. Fiato held various senior positions at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company including Technical Advisor to ExxonMobil Law Department (including coordination of major patent interference and patent infringement cases before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit), Head of Competitive Assessment in the Gas Processes Division of Process Engineering Department at ExxonMobil, and was most recently the Intellectual Property Coordinator / IP Manager of the Gas-to-Liquids (GTL) Technology Division. In his latest role, Dr. Fiato was instrumental in the development, enforcement and licensing of 3500+ patents on GTL Technology.
Dr. Fiato has served as Chairman of Energy Frontier International (EFI) and Finance Chairman of the Natural Gas Conversion Board (NGCB) since 2005. He is also a member of American Chemical Society, a corresponding member of SAE and has been actively involved in programs for DOE, NSF and National Research Council. Dr. Fiato is a named inventor on more than 65 US and 250 issued or pending foreign patents and has published over 42 industry publications on a range of catalytic processes.
Dr. Fiato received his Ph.D. Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Rochester and BS in Physical Organic Chemistry from Clarkson College in New York .

Dr. Dali Ding
Vice President, General Manger Shanghai R&D Center
Prior to joining Accelergy, Dr. Ding was Senior Vice President at Roosevelt China Investments Corporation and Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company in the Shanghai office. Dr. Ding co-founded China Home, Inc, an e-commerce player in the home renovation sector where he served as VP of Operations & Business Development, and as General Counsel. Dr. Ding was also an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, advising high-tech companies in start-up, venture capital financing, licensing, merger/acquisition and IPO transactions.

Mr. Sam Zaczepinski General Manager, Hydroprocessing Business Development.
Prior to joining Accelergy, Mr. Zaczepinski served as Process Vice President of Carmagen Engineering, Inc., a consulting company employing over 180 engineers and researchers, where he was responsible for marketing consulting services to major technology licensor and the refining industry. Prior to Carmagen Engineering, Inc., Mr. Zaczepinski held a number of management positions, including the position of Technology Assessment and Licensing Manager for US and Europe. With over 37 years of experience with ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company, Mr. Zaczepinski offers extensive expertise in the areas of process engineering, refining (technology, engineering, start-ups, and management), synthetic fuels, research guidance, and technology licensing.

Mr. Richard Bauman Director, Process Technologies
Prior to joining Accelergy, Mr. Bauman joined ExxonMobil Research and Engineering Company in 1965, and have since then directed the development of leading technologies in refining, coal liquefaction, shale retorting, and natural gas conversion. Among the processes are Single Stage Hydrocracking, Gofining, Residfining, Exxon Donor Solvent Coal Liquefaction, Microcat Coal Liquefaction, Exxon's Shale Retorting Process, and AGC-21 (Exxon's Advanced Gas Conversion technology). Activities have covered the range of breakthrough research to operation of large Process Demonstration Units. The most recent program was the development of Exxon's AGC-21 technology. Mr. Bauman supervised the $ 500+ million dollar program which resulted in over 400 patents (he is author on over 10 of these patents).
Mr. Bauman holds a MS from Drexel Institute of Technology and a MS from New York University in Chemical Engineering, and has continued to evaluate advanced technologies after retiring from Exxon in year 2000.
